The Challenge
With over 75,000 users, processing billions of dollars annually, in over 120 countries and in 30 languages the biggest hurdle was going to be accurately identifying core user flows and optimising a platform that had such variation in terms of the users.
The Solution
We stripped the platform back to the core principles of user experience. By looking at the primary function and task completion requirements of the platform we created a clear hierarchy within the user interface, kept consistency in the layout and structure through key user journeys and placed a huge focus on usability and accessibility. We removed barriers and unnecessary steps of key processes to optimise and speed task completion for the user.
My Role
Working alongside the inhouse Senior Management Team, Key Stakeholders and Development Teams I took ownership of the project and drove key processes and decisions to complete the various stages from discovery to deployment.
Our team’s involvement with the project spanned 14 months of working closely and intensely to achieve the desired outcomes that created an optimised user experience, reduced the time required to complete tasks for the user and produced an increase in revenue generation for the client.
