The Challenge
The brief called for a responsive digital solution seamlessly integrating with the client’s existing lead practice management software. Our challenge was to craft a modern, customisable design while ensuring a visually appealing and optimised user experience.
The Solution
We devised a bespoke content management and booking system, empowering the client to personalise the platform within their brand and marketing suite. Our meticulous approach to platform logic ensures that customisation doesn’t compromise the overall user experience. The result? A platform where the client can create a unique look and feel without sacrificing usability.
My Role
As the lead UI and product designer, I began my engagement with a thorough heuristic evaluation, undertaking a three-day blind review of the existing platform. This immersive experience allowed me to identify pain points and obstacles to task completion from the user’s perspective. Subsequently, I employed several UX research methodologies, including competitor analysis, user focus group discussions, and stakeholder interviews.
I presented the client with a comprehensive report outlining platform weaknesses and proposing improvements. This report served as the foundation for a comprehensive redesign effort, covering every aspect from refining the user interface to enhancing the overall user experience.
The Outcome
Following implementation, the overhauled platform demonstrated a notable enhancement in user engagement and satisfaction. User feedback underscored heightened ease of use and an aesthetically pleasing interface. The client now benefits from not only a contemporary design but also a customisable solution that seamlessly aligns with their brand.
A valuable secondary outcome of this successful solution was the client’s recognition of the power and value of a proper UX process. Consequently, they chose to collaborate with me and my agency to apply this process to subsequent endeavors, thereby reinforcing the positive impact of our collaborative efforts.
